Bubble baths while pregnant?

First pregnancy here so if it is a dumb question... sorry! I'm 6 1/2 weeks and I'm wondering if bubble baths/bath salt soaks are safe during pregnancy? I haven't had my first OB appointment yet (yes it's scheduled... just impatiently waiting)... so I haven't been able to ask all of my questions... and I really want a bubble bath..... help! 😊

Baths are fine as long as you don't get too hot.  And no hot tubs.

Get the book, "What to expect when you are expecting."  It's a life saver and can answer all questions like this.  It's only $16 but u can usually find them at second hang stores like goodwill. :)

I know I had baths all the way through (currently 30 weeks) I was told to make sure they are not too hot in the first trimester as this can be a cause of miscarriages. Also to stay away from excessive salts and perfumed bubble baths as this can cause thrush etc down below. I'd say stick to luke warm baths with what you would bath baby in (like Johnsons) xx hope this helps and best wishes with your pregnancy xx

A mildly warm one yes, a hot one no. You're not supposed to raise your core temperature. You can't go in a hot tub either. 😓

You can, just don't raise your core temperature- basically, if you're sweating in the bath, it's too hot. I take them all the time and I'm 30 weeks.
