Contraception

I'm considering getting the birth control implant or the injection as I suck with pills and continuously forget to take them and I am too scared to get an IUD. But I need one where it will lessen or even completely take away my periods as I get terrible ovarian cysts and my doctor reckons a contraceptive will help me with that 😅 Which do you guys think is better?? And what is your experience with either if you have them!! Any advice or stories would be appreciated because I'm really not sure which to go with right now !!
