My nearly 10 month old has been suffering from a lot of eczema. My inner scientist came out and I did a lot of research on eczema and food allergies/sensitivities. I decided to put him on similac Alimentum which is a hypoallergenic formula where the cow milk proteins have been severely broken down. I changed nothing else about his diet, or cream and bathing schedule. Essentially the only change I made was his formula. 5 days, and he's almost eczema free. I took him to daycare this morning, and his teachers couldn't believe how clear his face was. Hopefully this is the solution, I encourage all the moms out there struggling with their children's eczema to do your research and try and rule out any dietary issues. Everything that you can apply to eczema topically (on the skin) only treats the symptoms, it's not treating the cause. Good luck everyone!
