Can OPK's miss ovulation?

Yesterday I had ewcm, twinges on my right side but I never got a positive test. Still having ewcm today, and cramping on my right side, so far my test is negative.

Any thoughts would be appreciated :) All this drives me crazy haha!

Yes they can! I used clearblue digital last month and never got my smiley. Then I switched back to first response and it said I was ovulating. Now I use 3 different ones!

So the only thing OPKs detect are LH surges, which happen BEFORE (typically) O. If you didn't get a positive OPK in the time you would have normally, consider testing twice at the beginning of your cycle and 3 times with a digital OPK starting from CD 9 or 10 through CD 15 or 16. I hear once you get your first positive OPK, you can usually expect to ovulate in 24 hours or less. But always go by Cm and cp and bbt first.
