DONT HAVE A HOBBY?

The only thing I enjoy is laying in my bed and watching Netflix my mom is taking my phone away this whole summer, because " you need a hobby" and trust me I've tried everything!!!! I find myself miserable doing anything. Help. Also they are gone ALL day so I have no one to take me places :/ worst summer ever

There's no possibly way you have tried every hobby known to man. You just sound super lazy. Your mother should speak to your doctor about depression medicine if you're miserable doing "everything".

Your mom is doing the right thing. I agree with other commenters you sound lazy and possibly depressed. I have severe depression and find no interest in anything other then my children. There has to be something you'll enjoy doing. Buses will take you around and are inexpensive. Take a walk in a park. Get a bike and use that to get around that helps with depression and anxiety.

I enjoy painting outside, painting on big rocks & make cool designs for the garden, making birdhouses, planting flowers/herbs/vegetables, read outside and get a tan... take your dog for a walk if you have one or walk by yourself... ask your friends to pick you up...

Okay I can relate with you when I was a teenager!! I had ZERO hobbies and only ever wanted to stay inside and watch tv. But now I enjoy walking, working out, going for hikes. Go walk around a mall! Go to a park! Public pool! Volunteer somewhere! Make a friend! There's sooooo much you can spend your time doing and wouldn't you rather do that?? Don't waste these years in a room! I wish I didn't lol

Go take a walk, go to the park, draw, paint, hang out with friends, volunteer, swim, dance, etc. You're just a lazy teen who wants to sit on your ass all day. Get outdoors and do something!

If you want to stay at home maybe find yourself an activity ( ex: painting, create dye object) but I agree with your mom that you shouldn't stay in bed all day for all the summer
