Bleeding mid cycle?

Hi guys! I've never posted on here so I hope I'm in the right place!
My boyfriend (now fiancé) and I started TTC in December of last year. We got engaged towards the end of April and decided we would stop actively trying until after the wedding, which is this August. 
My last period started May 2nd and lasted 5 days. Then the 12th I started to get some light spotting which has gone on every day since then. Does anybody know why this could be happening?? A friend of mine suggested taking a pregnancy test however my period was the same as usual, if not heavier. So I have no idea what is going on!
Any input would be greatly appreciated ladies!!

So sorry about your D&C. 
No exercise out of the norm here. I've read stress can cause it, which I am planning a wedding! But I don't feel more stressed than usual. I think I will take a pregnancy test tonight so I can maybe rule that out for now. So frustrating and a little scary.

I wish I could help! I am on the same boat. I had a D&C in March and mid April I finally got AF. Two weeks later it was as if I had a light period for a few days. Glow has that Im suppose to start to day but I got nothing. I did some research to try and figure it out. For me, I think it might have been the exercise. I started running again. I read sometimes heavy exercise can cause you to bleed. So, I am thinking thats what it was. Have you started any exercise routines lately?
