Sex to help start labor??

Hey ladies, I am 37+3 weeks baby is measuring two weeks ahead at 39+3 and I'm trying to jump start labor. Does sex really help with starting labor?? Are there any other tricks that I can try?? Even if they didn't work for you I am willing to try it lol I want this baby out soon.

We tried sex.... it just hurt. Made me cramp and my back kill. Took a shower and everything eventually went away.  So not worth it haha

I'm following this because I too, want this baby out soon! I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow and measuring bigger. I started bouncing on a ball today, I have to say it feels good and helps with pressure. I was also wondering about sex- I'm willing to try about anything safe at this point!

I'm 38+1 I went camping this weekend went on hikes , I've had sex about 3 times a day 😂😂 nothing will work if your body and baby isn't ready , it's so hard I'm so uncomfortable and I want her out

I bounced on an exercise ball the week of when my water broke. Helped with my back and helps engage the baby

Midwife told me that climbing the stairs backwards may help , haven't tried anything yet cause I'm waiting for my mom to come first. Also heard that dark chocolate may help ? No idea, but after the 6th of June I'm trying everything ( except castor oil ) and hope she will come a week earlier .

I've been eating spicy Mexican food and having sex also walking a lot. I'll get some tightening then it stops once I lay down. 😒 he's comfy in there I'm 38 +1 so not much longer!

I'm not really sure.. almost 39 weeks and we have sex almost daily and nothing yet 😞 just some uncomfortable cramping afterwards. We've been having sex my whole pregnancy though so I'm not sure if my body is just used to it lol. But it's always worth trying !!

Ok so since posting this  I have been getting sharp stabbing pains deep inside my vag area like someone is stabbing me with a knife. It's been happening almost everytime I get up from my couch it's bad enough to make me bend over and hold my belly until it stops and I shout in pain. I've had it happen about four or five times since 5pm it is now 9pm. My hubby and I did have sex before I posted this so I'm wondering if these pains are normal or if it could be the start of labor. I've had them before but not this bad and like once a week not this many times in one evening.

Eat lots of dates and go on long walks.. also stimulate your nipples.. you can try all of these but I think your body is just ready when baby is im affraid. I'm 35 +4 iv been having braxton hicks for over a week now, still so long to go for me 🙈🙈🙈
