Why does my baby not crawl yet?

I see all these pictures of babies who are crawling. Mine is 6.5 months and isn't even close. She just lays on her tummy, wiggles her butt around, then gets mad. She can sit unassisted but that's about it and that's all she wants to do. Should I be worried she's not crawling...

More poeople post about their babies crawling than about their babies NOT crawling. My LO is 7 months and not crawling. I'm not too concerned it's usually 6-10 months they do.

6 months is stil early for crawling, I go to mommy group and many 8-9 months old are just mastering real crawling (up on all fours, not belly scooting).

If she was a year and not 'moving' yet I may  be a little worried! I'm pretty sure 6 month olds are just at the milestone to sit unassisted. So yours is right where she should be! 6 mths is super early for full on  crawling, and I'm going to assume those are also the "early walkers" like 8-10 mths. Who knows. Mine is a crawler but I swear she is the only baby in the world who has loved tummy time since birth! I really think that has played a tremendous role in it

No. It's completely normal if your baby cannot crawl yet. Some do at that age, but that doesn't mean yours has to either right now. It's still early.

Mine is not crawling yet. He pushes off with his little feet and gets his butt up but does not lift his front half. Or he will push up onto his hands and not pick up the back half. Crawling should be coming soon for our little ones.

My nephew will.b 9 months on June 3rd and he isn't crawling yet either....theres no need to worry...all babies go at there own pace..keep calm all.is well...i promise...i have a 6yr old boy and 10 yr old girl.
