Sleep?

I get so nervous to sleep at night. Our baby is in a pack n play next to out bed. Is this a safe position for her to sleep? 
We hardly slept last night because it was our first day home. I'm a nervous nelly. 🙁

I'm the same way! This is my second and she is under 2 weeks old still but those first few night I was constantly awake and checking on her. But newborns should ALWAYS sleep on their backs, just turn the head to the side so any spit up will dribble out. Buy honestly you are gonna be so in toon with your baby, any noise will wake you up anyways if he/she starts to spit up a lot

I've always been taught and told that side sleeping is the safest. Incase of vomit or choking on spit or anything like that.

I would let my daughter begin to fall asleep in that position but once she was I out I would place her on her back. If my daughter would wake up in the middle of the night I was too scared she would wiggle her way on to her tummy. Now I have a 5months old that can sleep in both positions
