Hi everyone ! So I went to labor and delivery today due to me having non stop period cramps /contractions started last night but subsided and in the am they came back . Anyway I was seen and they started me on an IV and they came and in checked my cervix no dilation thank god . But they did tell me that I'm having a lot of contractions 8-10 min apart and asked if I felt them and I responded YES ! Not super painful but I am uncomfortable and in somewhat pain . Now here's my question . Have I not dilated because my contractions have just started ? They ordered me to be on bed rest I'm 32 weeks pregnant
