Really bad hair job before Christening!

Hi guys! So my friend who usually dyes my hair (and does a great job) made a mistake this time! Instead of my hair comming out really dark red (more like reddish-brown) it came out pink and the dye hurt my scalp too! She switched from the regular dye to a professional one that she paid over 50$) I need advice about what colour should I dye my hair to get it back to normal (dark brown). I had it dyed on Sunday and I wonder on what day can I dye it back without hurting my scalp more! Please help!
