Asking for opinions

So i am 17 and I have had the same boyfriend for almost a year and a half. We had sex 4 months into the relationship and we kept continuing to have sex till our one year. I have always been religious and I knew sex was wrong but I wanted it and still wanted to wait till marriage. He is annoyed that I changed my mind. He loves me very very much, just no sex in the relationship feels like it's destroying us. I still want to have sex with him and everything but I also want to wait. I don't know what to do, I want to have sex with him. Just don't feel like it's right.
