My boyfriend is in the military and has been there for almost a year. He is in infantry so he has been sent to ships for training and will continue to do so, he is also getting deployed from 7 months to a year or even a year and a half. I told him I didn't want to marry because it's too early plus he'll be away anyways. I want to finish college. Now, after this deployment he will go on a second one. Plus more training out of state. So, basically I'll wait for him 1-2 years and he has about 3 years left. It breaks my heart but we both love each other, but I don't know if it's worth it. He evens says "I'm prepared to die". What if (God, please no) he dies and I waited so long for just pain. I don't know what to do. I do love him and I'm willing to wait but I don't want this waiting to go to waste. 😞
