Walmart???

I applied at Walmart recently for front registar cashier position and I got a call recently saying all they have is a bakery associate I said I wouldn't mind the position but like wth is it a bad place to start? This would be my first real job

No it's fine. I'm not exactly sure what bakery associates do but I work in the produce department of a grocery store and I actually really like it. You'll probably be doing stuff like restocking the breads and things like that. Its probably a good job. I'd prefer a department over a front end job.

so i'm a cashier at my job, and I wish I had another position at my job that is not cashier ): I'd rather be a sales associate so you got lucky not having to be a cashier especially at walmart because it's so busy. I work at an arts and crafts store and I still have do deal with annoying and rude customers. so I say you should definitely go for it.

I used to work at Kmart long ago as a cashier, eventually i learned how to work the electronics dept and they would send me over to relieve ppl. I liked it better, more diversity of tasks to do rather than just hear the beep of the register all day.
