DIVA CUP - IS THE PRICE WORTH IT?

Today I went to Walmart and upon looking for liners a faint glow appeared at the top of the shelf and it was a diva cup

I've never seen it face to face and immediately was mesmerized it Goodness gracious...

$36?!?!?!?

Is it worth it? It looks scary honestly.

I've never had any leaks or issues with the Diva Cup. I learned within my first cycle how to put it in and take it out easily. Its really not bad at all. To me it's a lot like a tampon except I don't have a smelly garbage can that I'm changing every day like I used to when on my period and used tampons. I also don't have to worry about buying period products anymore.

You can also leave the cup in for 12 hours. So I never change it when I'm out of the house except on very rare occasions. I sleep with it in without being concerned about having to wake up every 8hrs to deal with a tampon.

The Diva cup lasts 1-3 years. Even if it only lasts a year that's $36 on the cup (mine was about $45 actually) but if you add up a $20 box of tampons for a year I was spending about $160. So the Diva cup actually saves you money in the end- it's just a bit more up front. I totally recommend it.

I've used cups for ten years and before that would go through a box of tampons per period - I've saved soooooooooo much money with a cup!

I think it depends on the person I have a normal flow of blood and it just kept coming out and when you pull it out it splashs all over toilet bowl so a little gross

I find it leaks slightly sometimes, and putting it in takes a bit of getting used to, but worth it.  Barely feel it and only have to take it out and wash it twice a day.
