Swimming on the period?

What do you usually wear when you're getting into the pool or lake as you're on your cycle?... 🤔🤔🤔

You DO bleed in the water. Take it from a woman who has competively swimming and playing waterpolo from the age of 4. You should wear a tampon in the water, especially if you will be in the pool/ocean for long periods of time. 
For people who believe you don't actually bleed while swimming, the large body of water dissipates your blood so it doesn't look like you are bleeding. But I can promise you, you definitely are bleeding in the water.

If anyone wears a pad on their period then here's a little fact: as soon as you go into the water the pad absorbs all the water and it won't absorb anything else therefore losing its purpose. You don't bleed in water like that though so I guess it doesn't matter. Just saying it's not worth it to be uncomfortable if it won't do anything.
