What kind of system did/do you use for organizing baby clothes?

I'm using drawers and just putting one set of sizes per drawer. I'm not going to even try to hang clothes.

I keep all my son hats socks and mitten in an baskets and I have all his new born and size 0-3 clothing hanging up and all his 3-6 6-9 clothes in a dresser

(Pictures were before I got too much stuff and before I decided how to organize the "too much stuff") I hang everything but onesies and sleepers and pants. Those go in the dresser and I'm only hanging things that fit now and the next size up (along with some too big pretty dresses I wanted to keep nice). Things that don't fit yet are just in the bottom drawers waiting their turn. 
Dresser drawers from left to right:
Top: Diapering stuff, socks/diapercovers/mittens/tights, sleepers, other pjs
Middle: pants that fit now, onesies that fit now
Bottom: 6-9 month stuff, anything bigger

I don't have a picture. But the way I did it was by hanging actual outfits (shirts/pants, whatever) together and sleepers by size. So NB, 0-3, 3, so on. I also made little dividers to mark the sizes. Just Google baby closet divider and you can make your own or order some for really cheap. Then I have a tall dresser instead of long so the first drawer consist of mittens, hats, and socks. Then it goes NB/0-3 month onsies, next drawer same sized pants, and then just continues down the line of sizes pretty much.

Hanging clothes in the closet wasn't really feasible for me because.. 
a. I can't even hang up my own clothes 
B. Baby's closet is kinda far from changing table

So all the clothes are in the changing table with the exception of jackets, sweaters, overalls, and accessories. Only clothes that he currently fits in are in there. The rest are organized by size and stocked away

Drawers. Saves space (I read Marie Kondo's Japanese Art of Tidying Up book).
 
And I did a big audit and made an Excel spreadsheet to track it. 
 
Especially with regards to sizes. I filter to see what he needs when there's a baby clothing sale online 😀
