Wedding dress

My husband and I want to validate our marriage through the church and I'm thinking I want to get a short wedding dress. Just wonderiing if any ladies had a short wedding dress for their Wedding? I would love to see picturess of it. I've been told that getting a short dress might be something I regret. Haven't seen short dresses on the wedding dress posts I've seen.
