I am 20 and have been on the pill since I was 17. I have never been that good with taking it consistently, so I have been looking for other options. I have a steady boyfriend and am looking for something where I don't have to worry about taking a pill every day. I am mainly deciding between Nexplanon (implant) and Mirena (hormonal IUD). My concerns are lowered sex drive and possible mental side effects. I have never had terrible periods or side effects from the pill.
