new to BBT. what's your experience?

Just got my thermometer today! Feeling good about this month, using BBT and OPK. Any tips? Share your experience using BBT please.

Happy to hear you're going to start tempting. It can be a little confusing at first, but it's really the only way to confirm that you actually ovulate. OPKs can tell you when your LH surge is, but still doesn't tel you when you actually ovulate. It can be anywhere from 12-36 hours after a surge. I highly recommend tempting vaginally as well....if you are a mouth breather or snore at all it can affect your temps quite a bit. Also if you don't have a regular wake up time, set an alarm early just to tempt and then go back to sleep. Make sure you take you tempt before you move around or get out of bed. My daughter wakes up between 6-7:30 so I set an alarm for 5am and then go back to sleep. Drinking and being sick will
also affect your tempts. Goodluck!!!

Yes👆🏻 can't stress enough that taking your temp 20 mins late (or early) will effect your temps. Literally has to be the exact same time. 
If you do happen to wake up early take your temp and use an online bbt adjuster.. because laying awake or waiting for the correct time to take your temp will mess it up also.. lol pretty confusing but you will get it! Good luck🤞🏼
