Your adult children or your new spouse?

Who comes first?? Example if your kids invite you on a trip but tell you that you can't bring your spouse should you go? Or if your child asks you for money both you and your spouse know that they've poorly spent their own money and are only asking you for money to get themselves out of a situation your spouse tells you not to give it to them do you follow your spouse or help your child? Or your child post something disrespectful about your spouse on social media and your spouse and child get into an argument whose side are you on? Just need to know what others think??!
