Hating Baths- Phase?

My 15 month old has suddenly started hating bath time. Like she freaks out! This has lasted a couple weeks and came out of no where. Anyone else ever had this problem?

I just shower with my baby instead and put all the bath toys in it! He loves it!!

My daughter is 4, still freaks out when I wash her hair, she has since birth! I can now wash her hair with little to no screaming. She hates her face wet and I still don't know what to do about it. I've never seen a child behave like this with water. If you find a way to get passed it let me know lol.

My son hated or was scared of baths approximately one week a month from about 6 months until 17 months.

I would have to take a bath with him and show him splashing is fun and he would get over it until the next month.  It was so weird...one night he loved baths...the next he was a belligerent mess.

Yes!!! It was horrendous and came totally out of no where. I read stories about bath time, how you don't fit down the drain. I let her pick out bubble bath and then she was totally fine if there were bubbles in it. It took three months to get her to relax again. We had tried everything during those three months but she just screamed bloody murder.

Yes!! Our daughter all of a sudden went hysterical at bath time :( it eventually passed. I tried different things, like not wetting her head until the very end, and at one point, I had to be in the bath with her :S but it was just a phase and eventually she changed

Mine just started 3 days ago! Screams bloody murder. It used to be her favorite time of day because she'd play with her big brother while they bathed together. She's 14 months. But I know she likes water cause I caught sticking her hand in the toilet and playing in it! 😝
