I need help! subclinical hypothyroid.

So, since last October to about march of this year I was getting periods every two weeks. It got to the point where it was every other week. My bleeding would last up to 10 days at a time. Now my periods are long last month was 34 days and now I'm on 38. And i don't feel AF coming at all. I have subclinical hypothyroid! I'm only taking 25mg every other day. My tsh level was 6.8. I'm in the military and these doctors are complete idiots where I am stationed. They won't let me see a specialist. Just wondering if anyone has been in the same shoes.
