Getting a wound VAC after C-Section as a precaution?

My doctor wants me to wear one for the first 7 days because of my apron belly. Anyone else have a doctor doing this or have one before?

Never heard of it? I'm scheduled for a csection on Monday, and dr didn't mention anything.... if it's supposed to be helpful, then why not?
