If Trump were to be impeached, would people support Pence

Obviously if you are on different sides on issues you may not like it, but do you think people would feel better with Pence?

I saw someone comment on a political thread that after Trump gets impeached we need to impeach Pence. When asked why, the person responded "because that whole party is screwed up"

Got me thinking. Do you think people would accept Pence or would it not make any difference?

Bonus question- if Pence was the actual candidate andnwe never even had Trump on the ticket. If he won would there have been as many protests and upset people?
