My almost 11 year old cat has started spraying, but only in one spot directly in front of his litter box.  He has never been a cat that marks his territory, we have a dog and I have moved multiple times with him and he's never engaged in this behavior. He is still using his litter box, and being very affectionate with me. I'm hoping it's just temporary, that he's sensing change. Anyone else's pets behave strangely before the baby arrived?
