My husband just got a job in Austin and we are flying down next week to look at houses to buy. Does anyone have experience with buying a house there? 🙏🏼

It's very much a seller's market here- pretty much everything is overpriced and since lots of people love the area and are moving here in droves, there's a lot of competition. When we bought last July, we kept getting outbid and lost several houses we loved. My advice- when you find a house you love, don't delay! Put in as high a bid as you can to make sure you get it.
