Would You Stay

Imagine you met someone amazing, you guys were soulmates. You guys went through everything together, fights, love, jealousy, but stayed strong through it all. A few years later you two get married with a little baby boy on the way. You're a perfectly happy family, with your son in rolling into first grade and another bundle of joy on the way. Your partner tells you of their want to be someone else, that they believe they weren't supposed to be born in this body, but of the opposite gender. For some reason you feel heartbroken, they didn't tell you about any of this for ten years, you feel betrayed. They start asking if they can get different hormones, using the money from your sons college fund. Your son doesn't understand what's going on, and is afraid of this change, this new person.
