cooing????

Question

What age did your lo start cooing and/or start making sounds ? How did you encourage it ?

Answer

About... 6 weeks? And it graduated to multisyllable sounds around 8. He's been a chatterbox since 10 (he's a little over 11w now). I talk to him all the time and I repeat back sounds he makes sometimes (say he makes a breathy "ahhhh", I do it back. So does my hubby) . When he "talks" I always make sure to smile really big and give him all of my attention and talk back  I want to let him know we want to hear him.

2 months ish. I just talked and sang to him A LOT, and he started cooing back one day :)
