what did you buy for your baby and when?

Question

I'm a first time Mum and don't really have a good idea of what to buy for my baby. 
Also how far along were you when you brought the big stuff and when did you start buying the small stuff?

I started buying a pack of diapers and wipes every check, right when I found out. I got the crib early because someone was selling a super nice one on Facebook for very cheap. 
Everything else I just bought when I saw it! I'm 25 weeks and have almost every thing we need.

When I was 28 weeks I find out I was having a baby boy and the first thing I bought was in all in one car seat and stroller to  get it out the way and bassinet

I started buying after our 20 weeks scan. I got stuff when I saw a good deal. I also stocked up on nappies and wipes- which was absolutely fab. As I was breastfeeding, it was so nice to know I had plenty and wouldn't run out- so if we weren't able to go to the shops one day then we didn't have to. I still buy nappies and wipes in bulk for my 21 month old and I've started to stock up on nappies for #2.

We started buying the big stuff at 10w, we wanted to have the time to budget for it. Starting with like the crib, dresser and changing pad topper etc.
We left littler things for the shower (I had mine at 28w) and then we appreciated the extra time after that to buy/thrift anything else we didn't receive at the shower!

I was about 34 weeks when we bought everything we needed and that same week we set everything up and I had my son at 37 weeks
