She's Here!!!
Rosa Marjorie Elizabeth made her appearance in one hour and 39 minutes yesterday morning at 9:09 A.M. Unfortunately I had been in active labor three days prior but kept getting sent home because I wasn't dilating fast enough and they wouldn't do anything to help me along despite being 39 weeks. So yesterday morning I called EMS at 7:30 in the morning after being sent home at 4:30 that morning. I ended up starting to push in the back of the ambulance and finished at a different hospital at 9:09. Unfortunately she aspirated meconium and was born was a prolapsed cord which caused a HIE. She's in the NICU on a cooling blanket but is doing great!!! My little fighter coming in at 7 pounds 9 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long, no epidural or pain meds!!!
