After 8 years of trying to get pregnant. God blessed us with our first pregnancy. I am 8 weeks now. And even though we are soooo excited and can't wait hold our baby, I have been worried and kinda scared. I had been diagnosed with diabetes about a year ago. To be honest I don't really took care of myself ad I should have. My Dr sent me for labs and my A1c did come out high. Right now, my sugar levels have been under control, however it still scares me that my diabetes or even meds can harm my baby. I've heard of women with diabetes having stillborn, or baby is born with some type of defect. I just hope and pray my baby grows strong and healthy. That's all I care for.
