Negative Pregnancy Test...Missed Period?

Has anyone ever missed their period and had a negative pregnancy test just because it was too early to tell? I've never in my life missed my period but I'm 5 days late and the pregnancy test is negative. Is it possible that it's just too early to tell?

I went 2 months without a period last year. And that had never happened before. Turns out my period was delayed because I had been stressing out too much.

I'm dealing with the same thing right now. A week late and no AF, negative tests. I tend to ovulate late (CD 17-18) so that might be what's happening with me. It can be so frustrating!

Its possible! I tested a day before my expected period and thought I saw a faint line and now today 2 days late and nothing..... I just wish my period would come if its gonna come so I dont get my hopes up

I dealt with that and mine was a couple weeks late. Your desire to have the baby so much can sometimes affect your period.

Yes it's possible. It all depends when you ovulated - it may have been late. Or it depends on when you implanted - maybe later so not enough hcg in your system yet.
