90 Day Fiancé?

If you fell in love with someone far away, would you do the 90 day fiance to marry them and keep them in america?

I can't remember the exact law or whatever, but it's basically where you have 90 days to bring someone over and marry them and they can get their green card. There's a show about it. Anywho, would you do it? Would you even date someone somewhere else in the world?

Me and my husband got a fiancé visa and got married.  We were dating for less than a year basically online.  We've been married 2 years in September.  We argue occasionally but we are happy!  We both took a huge chance and it worked out for us.

it depends, my ex was Australian and we were head over heels for eachother until we parted ways due to the distance thing and neither one of us being in a financial position to travel to see eachother. If i had had the money hell yess I would have either gone over there or flown him to the usa lol but now I am happily married to my amazing hubby and expecting our first baby. If I knew them well enough, of course. Why limit yourself to find your "soulmate" just where you live? There are so many people out there in the world. If I never met my husband I would definitely be open to it.

My husband was here on a student visa when we got married 10 years ago. If you know you are in love and actually want to marry them, I have no issue. But if it is JUST to get them a green card, beware if you think you will be filing for a divorce or an annulment soon after. For one, it would be considered fraudent, and for two it takes quite awhile to get the green card plus I think there was a one year probationary period before they got a permant residency?

Anyway, you have to also demonstrate the seriousness of the relationship (correspondence, people who can attest to the nature of the relationship, joint assets, co-payers on bills, etc.)
