Anyone dating a military man?

My boyfriend is gonna be in a ship for the next week and a half... After what, three days? I already miss him terribly 😭😭😭 I wanna txt him but knowing Rick (that's his name) he'd try to respond back and he can't be on his phone while he's on that ship... Am I doing the00 right thing not texting him while he's away?

Don't make him break the rules. Do as you're told. You'll get to see him soon enough. My dad is in the military and half the time, I can't even know where in the world he is. I just have to accept that. I would never try to get him to tell me his location because I know there is a reason for the rules.

My husband is out to sea frequently.. even after coming home from deployment.. when they go out to sea, they loose service after so many miles away from the coast and generally the ship takes them out past there.. just stay busy..and email him

You're doing the right thing, it might be hard but it would be harder if he got in trouble! When my husband went to boot camp it was the same thing and it was pretty hard at first. Try to distract yourself, keep busy or treat yourself, it might make seeing him again sweeter!! Hope it helps and good luck ☺️

It was hard for me being away from my boyfriend since he's in the marines but I recently moved out here to be with him😬. 
It's totally normal to miss him and I understand it's hard. 😕
