I haven't been pumping. is this a problem?

Stacy
I ebf and at first so much milk came in I was pumping to get comfortable and stop the leaking between feedings. Now my supply has leveled out and I just feed my baby. Should I go back to pumping so there's more supply that demand? Or just don't worry about it?

You only need to pump if you plan on leaving your baby with someone and need to give a bottle. I've been nursing my daughter for three years, didn't respond to a pump. So I haven't pumped and it's never been a problem.

In that case once you start pumping your body will know to produce more and you should be good to pump and save.

Wel in about a month she will have a sitter so I figure I'll pump through the day and what I "pump today she'll get tomorrow" kind of thing.

There's. I reason you need any extra my love! As long as you're producing enough to make your little one happy I wouldn't worry!! No use in making your breast uncomfortable again if baby is getting enough!x
