Ovulate or not?

So my bbt indicates I've ovulated, but I don't think my cervix is open and my ovulation test was negative... what's most reliable? BD'ing every day anyway, but just wondering what others experience is...

To be honest i don't even know what my cervix should feel like - how open is open? How hard or low or high is it supposed to be and how do you tell? I don't get it it's HARD! 😩
