Has anyone ever moved to a new city/country for their marriage? I moved 4 yrs ago to Canada from Texas. I grew up in TX and I have my family and my childhood friends there. In Canada I have relatives but it's not the same as they are all busy in their own lives. I work full time and have lots of friends at work but outside of work I've found it hard to make friends. My husband on the other hand has all his school friends here. A lot of times I feel lonely and I start wondering if my marriage is worth it. I love my husband (when he's not being a jerk) but I know I left a better life for him. On top of it he has a lot of baggage to deal with with his family that one day I will have to deal with and I pray that day doesn't come. I left a family that was social and loved traveling to this life...we don't do much. We don't have any kids but have been trying. Also some of my hubby's habits are that of a single person that bother me a lot but I'm tired of telling him. I stay because deep down I know he's not a bad person and some of the things he does are probably because his father was never around in his childhood and his mom's a bit cookoo.
