I want to scream...and that's I already have...a whole lot 😣 Today has been a super long one. We got the paint for the nursery after finding the perfect grey color using samples yesterday. Came home and my husband began painting. The color was so much darker than the sample so we had to bring it back. Got the exact color match then headed back home to start again. My husband kept putting the roller down on the drop cloth and was being careless dripping paint all over it...yes, I get it's a drop cloth...but why be so careless? So I made a few comments just reminding him to be more careful and he got all defensive.  Realized I was being more of a pain than a help so I went into the other room and started working on some other things. He comes out and says "I don't know how it happened, but the paint went through the drop cloth and onto the carpet". AHHHH!!! The carpet that I spent hours a few weeks ago deep cleaning to the point of it looking brand new. And you don't know how it happened?! I've treated it with stain remover but I don't think it's going to come out, and there are multiple stains, large and small, all over the rug. We are in need of a new dryer so money is tight...now we may need to replace a rug. Sorry just need to vent...
