I have always been told that my mother's side of the family was very very fertile, but wasn't sure if I actually believed it. I have had two pregnancies in my life; one from when I was raped at age 18 that ended in an abortion, and a second in April of 2017 that ended in a miscarriage. My second one happened while I was on birth control and I was in complete shock and denial about it. My husband and I knew we wanted children, but at the time I got that positive test I was so scared! After my miscarriage, we had a long talk about starting our family, and we knew that after my MC and just coming off BC, it might take a while; We decided to begin trying for our first baby... On 5/24/17 I got the faintest line on my test strip and I cried. It was barely a line, but it was there. I have been taking at least one - two tests a day to see if the line would get any darker... took this at 11 PM on the dot and it is 3x's stronger than the one I took this morning. We are excited, and absolutely terrified. I go in for my blood test on my birthday 5/30/17 to confirm it.... BUT OH MY GOD YOU GUYS I AM PREGNANT!!! 😭💕👶🏻🤰🏼✨
