at what point do you take prenatal/birthing classes?

Is that something you signed up for early but took late into the pregnancy?  Through your hospital or privately?  Thanks ladies!

I have kaiser and yes I signed up for a bunch of classes early, like at 20 weeks or so, most are for when I will be 30-38 weeks, including breastfeeding, newborn care, CPR, and hospital tour.

I signed up for I think 4 different ones through the hospital. My insurance doesn't cover the costs, unfortunately, but some will. I'm doing all of mine in month 7.

Took my first class at like 34 weeks. It was required by the birth center in attending. I am supposed to take another class Wednesday at 38+2 but they didn't charge me for it luckily. I wouldn't have paid for because I wasn't sure if I would make it!

I'm taking a class in my 3rd trimester. I signed up through my hospital, and it was the recommended class.
