when to pack the bag?

So I'm currently 27w3d pregnant and I was wondering if you guys have packed your hospital bag yet or when you plan on packing it? We've gone to the hospital once before for a bladder infection they thought was early labor. Everything else has been completely normal in my pregnancy. But I know early labor happens sometimes for no reason.

Im packing mine right after my shower (ill be 31 weeks i think) since thats probably when ill get alot of the little things i plan to take or ill know what i need to go get myself! Im 27 weeks and had to go in because they thought early labor last week too so i dont care if its early id rather be prepared one less thing to stress about if i do end up in an early labor situation 😊

I'm likely not packing until the final weeks. I would consider packing the baby's bag before that but as for mine and my husband's stuff, it's just not feasible to get a bag packed of things that we'll both be using up until the day I go into labor. The clothes im bringing are things I wear around the house all the time so I can't pack them or my phone charger etc. So it'll be the last thing I do before labor.

I'm 30 weeks and I haven't packed it just out of laziness. I am planning a home birth but if I go into labor before 37 weeks I will have to go to the hospital. I also don't want to be caught off guard if something comes up during my home birth that requires me to end up in the hospital. The last thing I would want is to go from planning to be comfy at home with all my stuff to being in a hospital with nothing! Better to be prepared. I'd say you can pack it whenever. It's unlikely you'll go into labor early but you never know and you can't be too prepared.

Honestly, I'm planning on waiting till I go into labor. I want to labor at home as long as possible and I figure if I leave it for then, it gives me something to do that will take my mind if laboribg for awhile. I mean, it's not like the movies where you have to rush to the hospital ASAP, so I believe there is plenty of time.
