Sexual Tension?

How long is there supposed to be sexual tension in a relationship? Is there always some? Does it fade away after the years of being together?

Yep it fades and when it does it's very confusing I'm currently in that place my husband doesn't was t sex at all I feel ugly and gross it's been almost a year we have a great relationship but I need Intamacy and romance God I miss that

I'm 21 and I've been with my boyfriend for 7 years. I still get butterflies when I see him and there is definitely still sexual tension. I really do believe it's because of the effort we both put into the relationship though- sometimes we go through little dry spells but we talk about everything and make sure to make time for us :)
