Ovulation tests; are they constant negatives or do you see progress? Or do they progress? I'm new to ovulation tests. Please help!

You may notice a progression or you may notice the second line stays roughly the same compared with the control until the surge. It msy even seem like they are progressing and then they go lighter again by most of the time you have not yet surged. It is best not to compare opks to each other and instead just compare the 2 lines on the individual tests. A positive will be as dark or darker than the control line (see pic). Start testing 20 days before you expect af and then move to testing twice per day once you start noticing fertile cm (egg white or watery). After the first month or two you'll have a better idea when you will surge and can cut this back a bit.

They are progressing but they are also all negative. The only true positive is when they are the same darkness and that means your LH levels are surging. When they look close to the same darkness, test twice a day so you don't miss the positive test and make sure you have sex for three days as ovulation can happen 12-24 hours after you see the positive test.
