Today we went swimming after swimming my 11 year old son said his chest hurts when breathing in I Googled and read about dry drowning so I took him in to the ER to make sure everything is OK they said his numbers looks good and his chest sound fine they did an x-ray said everything was fine this was all done in less then 40 min. Never been so fast however the Dr also said that they will continue to check his x ray to make sure everything is OK and a if something came up I would get a call. First thing is x rays don't change right? So why say if something comes up we will call u. They gave him Tylenol to take however I still don't feel comfortable with the results they gave. Has anyone else's child gone through something similar with the chest pain when breathing in after swimming?

Please any advice.

Don't feel comfortable with going to bed and him having chest pain.
