Share money?

Do you and your partner share the income you both make, is it a team or do you have separate money.

We have separate bank accounts and a joint savings however I'll be quitting my job soon so it looks like everything will be joint.  No reason why we keep them separate exactly it's just the way we've always done it and it works for us... Well until just recently.

My husband and I, We have the same bank account we share everything with one another.. we just bought a house together and we're married ; to me it just makes more since because 2 become one when you get married so over all to us everything is ours never his or hers.. we've been together 6 years and never had financial issues .

Joint savings but separate checking accounts and have 3 different banks (long story)  -_- so we are closing both checking accounts and we're going to open a checking account with the same bank as our savings

We have separate accounts only because I am british and I still have my account there, but I have access to his account here in Spain. We have a communal 'budget' tin (how retro) and we both put money in there and we live from that. Our accounts just hold our savings but all the money we have is 'ours'.

Long story why we have separate accounts but joint money. Basically his mom was in all his accounts and took forever to get off so we had to open up another account under his.

We have everything combined. Just easier to manage and never have to worry about keeping score. But that's just what works for us
