woke up this morning spotting in 7 weeks and 2 days is this normal!?!

I know it's gross and I'm sorry for the picture but I am worried! Has this happened to anyone else??

I spotted fairly consistently like that from weeks 7-9. My Dr said it was just that my uterus was inflamed from adjusting to pregnancy. She did say to avoid sex for about 2 weeks after spotting stops to give my body time to heal and adjust.
