Does having sex on you period can cause infertility for men

I asked my science teacher (sex ed)about whether it is healthy or not to have sex on your period 
And he answered:it's not generally dangerous for women but it's very unhealthy for men :it causes infertility 
And I was so 😲😮😵😵😵😵😲😲😲😲
Is this real guys because I searched for it a little  in the internet but I only found tips on having sex on your period

I don't see why it would and there is no proof to back this up he probably just said it because it's considered "gross" by some

Absolutely not. It does not cause infertility. It may be "nasty" to some but as long as you both pee and shower/clean up after you'll be good.

Wtf is going on when the sex ed teacher knows nothing about sex! No it does not cause infertility in men he more than likely said that because he finds the idea gross. If this is what they are teaching you about sex I suggest going and asking your dr if you have serious questions they can tell you everything you need to know and they actually know what they are talking about
