Hubby practically called me stupid!

Okay so yesterday I was cleaning my kitchen and when I walked into my living room my front door was wide open and my kids were by it looking outside. I asked them if daddy was outside bc the door was open they said Idk. So I look go outside looking for him and he is nowhere to be found. When I get inside I holler for him several time with no answer. I walk into my bedroom and he is sitting their playing a game ignoring me! I told him I was hollering for him and he was supposed to be watching the kids he said I didn't hear you and I said I was standing 5 ft from you yelling and u didn't hear me? He mumbles something and I said what. He says I didn't say anything and I asked if he thought I was stupid bc I know he mumbled something. His response was "you must be stupid". So I told him not to talk to me and I slept on my couch last night....I'm emotional pregnant and I'm upset. Bc he hasn't apologized at all and refused to help me with the kids (all 4 of them) at all last night or this morning....his mom and dad divorced bc of his dad being verbally abusive is this a red flag? Or am I overreacting?
