Telling work?

Question

now that I'm 12 weeks I want to make an announcement that I am pregnant but I haven't told my boss and he is out of town the next two weeks! Do you think I should wait to announce on Facebook? We are not friends but I wasn't sure what the right protocol was for telling boss / public and if it's okay to make it public first before talking to him.

Answer

I would wait to tell my job, but that's only because I'm paranoid and would hate for her to find out from someone else. You never know who is on FB that may also know a co-worker. And if it's on FB, they would probably assume it's ok to talk about at work.
